Pakistan Shuts Down Airspace for 24 Hours
Pakistan has announced the temporary closure of its airspace for all flight operations until noon on May 11, according to a statement released by the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA).
In an official notification, the PAA confirmed that the airspace will remain shut to all types of air traffic, without specifying any exemptions.
“Pakistan’s airspace will remain closed for all categories of flights until 12 pm tomorrow,” the spokesperson said.
The reason behind the closure was not disclosed in the announcement.
