Iran reports widespread damage to schools, hospitals, and civilian infrastructure, alleging hundreds of educational institutions have been targeted since the conflict began.

Iran has claimed that 763 schools across the country have been struck by United States and Israeli attacks since the start of the ongoing conflict, according to officials and humanitarian sources.

The Iranian Red Crescent Society reported that alongside educational institutions, a large number of civilian facilities have also been affected. These include over 22,000 commercial establishments and at least 322 health and medical centers. The organization also stated that 18 scientific institutions and 20 Red Crescent facilities were damaged during the attack.

The attacks reportedly began with initial airstrikes that included a deadly strike on a girls’ school in Minab, resulting in significant casualties. מאז then, multiple waves of strikes have targeted not only commercial hubs but also essential service infrastructure such as hospitals and emergency response units.

In addition to structural damage, emergency response capabilities have been severely impacted. Authorities reported the destruction of three helicopters, 46 ambulances, and 48 other emergency service vehicles.

Human casualties have also been reported among emergency workers. At least four members of the Red Crescent, along with two pregnant women, were killed. Medical personnel were also among those injured or killed in the attacks.

Officials further stated that several critical sites, including petrochemical facilities, border trade terminals, and research laboratories at Shahid Beheshti University, were among the targets, along with numerous residential areas.

The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate response from the United States or Israel regarding the allegations.
