Tragic incident in Ghaziabad where three minor sisters took their lives after becoming addicted to a Korean game.

A heart-wrenching incident occurred in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on February 4, 2026, when three minor sisters—Vishika (16), Prachi (14), and Pakhi (12)—took their own lives by jumping from the 9th floor of a building in a residential society. According to police reports, the sisters locked themselves inside their room before committing the act, and their neighbors did not realize the tragedy until they heard the sound of the sisters falling.

The family was unable to intervene in time as the sisters had already jumped when they broke open the door. Reports suggest that the three sisters were deeply addicted to a Korean game, which had become a source of family conflict. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they became so engrossed in the game that they stopped attending school regularly. They even used Korean names like their favorite characters in the game.

A note was found at the scene, which read, "Sorry, Dad," with crying emojis, further indicating the emotional toll of their actions. The tragedy has become a stark reminder of the influence of online games on mental health and the struggles young people face in managing pressure and addiction.

This incident has raised awareness about the importance of addressing mental health and the impact of gaming addiction among the youth.
