Major slump in India’s exports to the United States
India’s exports to the United States have suffered a significant decline. From May to September of this year, Indian exports to the country fell by 37.5 percent.
Indian news outlet NDTV has reported this information citing the think tank Global Trade Research Initiative (GTRI).
According to GTRI data, India’s exports to the United States were 8.8 billion dollars in May. By September, they had fallen to 5.5 billion dollars.
