Job Details – Bangladesh Navy Specialist Doctors

Educational Qualification:

• FCPS / FRCS / MRCP / MS / MD or equivalent, recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
   

Age Limit:

• Maximum 45 years as of 1 January 2026.
   

Physical Requirements:

• Male: Height 162.5 cm (5’4”), Chest normal 76 cm (30”), expanded 81 cm (32”)

• Female: Height 152 cm (5’), Chest normal 71 cm (28”), expanded 76 cm (30”)
   

Salary & Benefits:

• Pay and allowances as per the Armed Forces pay scale, along with other government-approved benefits.

1. Candidates are advised to learn swimming before joining BNA due to military training requirements.

2. Candidates employed in government, semi-government, or autonomous institutions must apply through proper authority. The Navy Headquarters reserves the right to amend any part of the notification. Final authority for issuing or canceling appointment letters rests with Navy Headquarters.

3. Candidates dismissed or removed from Army, Navy, Air Force, or any government service, or convicted by any court, will be considered ineligible.

4. Selected candidates must complete a 4-week Trainee Officer course at BNA and a 4-week orientation course at Banouja Patenga.
