Condition of Sharif Osman Hadi Critical, Singapore's Foreign Minister Visits
Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan visits the ailing leader in Singapore, provides an update to Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser.
On 17 December 2025, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, the Foreign Minister of Singapore, visited Sharif Osman Hadi, a prominent leader of the July Uprising and spokesperson for the Inquilab Platform, who is currently undergoing treatment in Singapore.
At 9:40 PM, Dr. Balakrishnan contacted Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser, Professor Muhammad Yunus, and briefed him on Hadi’s medical condition. He informed that Hadi's situation is extremely critical.
In response, the Chief Adviser urged the public to remain calm and asked for prayers and good wishes for Hadi’s recovery, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and support during this challenging time.
