Promotion of 80 police officers
Eighty officers of the Bangladesh Police, holding the ranks of Inspector (Unarmed, City, Vehicle, and Armed), have been promoted to the position of Assistant Police Superintendent in the BCS (Police) cadre.
On Tuesday (October 21), these promotions were announced through three separate notifications issued by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The notifications were signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahbubur Rahman.
According to the notifications, 33 Inspectors (Unarmed), 18 Inspectors (City & Vehicle), and 29 Inspectors (Armed) have been promoted and assigned to their duties in the Police Directorate.
The promoted officers have been instructed to submit their joining letters to the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs through the appropriate authorities.
The notification states that this order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
