Special Assistant of Chief Advisor Dr. Sayedur Rahman resigns

Professor Dr Md Syedur Rahman, special assistant to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare with the rank of state minister, has resigned. The president accepted his resignation on Tuesday night, according to an official gazette notification.
Md Syedur Rahman, special assistant to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the interim government with the rank of state minister, has stepped down from his position.
An official gazette issued by the Cabinet Division said that the president accepted his resignation on Tuesday night (December 30). The notification stated that Dr Syedur Rahman had been entrusted with executive authority as special assistant to the health ministry at the state ministerial level.
Dr Syedur Rahman was appointed in November last year as one of three special assistants with the rank of state minister by Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus. His appointment was part of the interim government’s efforts to strengthen administrative and policy support in key ministries.
