Inqilab Mancha has announced four key demands following the ongoing protest over the murder of their spokesperson Shahid Sharif Osman Hadi. Demonstrators have continued their sit-in at Shahbagh for the third consecutive day, calling for justice and the swift arrest of those involved in the murder.
The four main demands include:
-
Immediate Prosecution of Those Involved: Those involved in or aiding the murder must be brought to justice within the next 24 days.
-
-
Revocation of Work Permits for Indian Nationals: All work permits for Indian nationals working in Bangladesh should be cancelled.
-
-
Extradition of Fugitive Killers: Individuals involved in abductions and killings in Bangladesh, now seeking refuge in India, must be extradited to face trial. If India refuses, the matter should be taken to international courts.
-
-
Dismissal of Officials Providing False Information: Security officials giving false information and those associated with the ruling party, who are in hiding, should be dismissed from their positions.
-
Additionally, Inqilab Mancha has called for a nationwide student protest tomorrow at 2 PM, urging students from universities and madrassas to join the Shahbagh movement for justice.
