Photographer Dies in Train Accident While Capturing Flower Photos in Dhaka
In a tragic incident on Friday (2 May), a young photographer, Ishtiaq Ahmed, was struck and killed by a speeding train while taking photos of flowers near the railway tracks in Dhaka’s Kuril area.
According to eyewitnesses and social media footage, Ishtiaq was so focused on his photography that he failed to notice the approaching train. The fast-moving train hit him, leading to his immediate death on the scene.
Ishtiaq, a student of the Bangla department at Rajshahi College and an avid amateur photographer, was well-known among local photography enthusiasts. Following news of his death, many fans and fellow photographers expressed deep sorrow and shared condolences on social media, praising his exceptional talent and passion for capturing beautiful images.
