CMF Sports emerged victorious among 512 competing teams in the nationwide PUBG tournament, ‘Realme: Return of Kings’, organized by smartphone brand Realme. The 15-day event, which began on May 10 and concluded on May 24, drew participation from teams across Bangladesh.

The tournament was structured in six knockout rounds, with each team comprising 5 to 6 players. After a series of high-stakes matches, CMF Sports claimed the championship title, and team member Miraz Mahmud Sujal was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.

The winning lineup from CMF included Faisal Ahmed, Junaid Ahmed Prantik, Miraz Mahmud Sujal, Hasan Mahmud Fahim, and Tausifur Rahman, under the management of Raiyan Khan Niloy. All team members are current college or university students.

A total prize pool of BDT 300,000 was announced for the tournament. As champions, CMF will receive BDT 100,000, while the runner-up will earn BDT 60,000 and the second runner-up BDT 40,000. However, Realme has yet to confirm the distribution date for the prize money.

Speaking after the win, team manager Niloy praised Realme’s initiative:

“Realme’s effort is truly commendable. Robi and Airtel are also planning similar tournaments, which will significantly contribute to the growth of eSports in Bangladesh.”

Notably, CMF previously participated in another PUBG tournament that offered the chance to compete internationally in Kazakhstan. Niloy’s team secured fourth place in that event, narrowly missing the top spots. Reflecting on that experience, Niloy added:

“We were just a few points short in that tournament. Winning this one feels great, and we’re motivated to maintain this momentum in future competitions.”
